This lighthouse was build in 1909. The altitude of tower is 8 metres and the height of focal plane is 16 metres.

The lighthouse located under the castle around of Napfaktos harbour. Nafpactosis the capital of Nafpactia sub-prefecture, located in Aetoloacarnania prefecture. It is located in Corinthian Bay's entrance, between Rio - Antirio channel and river Momos mouth.Is one of the few Greek towns that managed to survive and to pass from prehistorical age to nowadays. At first, Pelasgian races fortfied Nafpactow by a wall composed of huge blocks of stone at the top oh the hill. Doric races, Romans, Byzantines, Venetians and Turks added fortficating works over those huge blocks of stone and left their prints deeply engraved. During the period of 1st Venetian Occupation 1407-1499 Nafpactoswas fortified by walling up to the sea and by creating the upper enclosure, so the castle took its present sight. Nowadays, it is the marque deposee of the town and the exclusive castle in Europe having five defensive zones, from the port to the top of the hill.
