LIGHTHOUSE AKSIOS

This lighthouse was manufactured in 1960. The altitude of tower is 8 metres and the height of focal plane is 9 metres.

It is found in the Delta of Axios river. The access to the lighthouse becomes roadly from the tolls stations of Malgara or via Kalohori. It is a radio-lighthouse that has collaboration with the Megalo Emvolo lighthouse in Aggelohori Thessalonica precisely in the opposite side of Thermaikos gulf.
